Justice (not England) Prevails!!!

According to Variety, the comic book fan masses may be in for a monster treat. The husband-wife writing duo Kieran and Michele Mulroney recently turned in a first draft of a script for one of the most coveted movies yet to be made: Justice League of America. And (reportedly) Warner Brothers was excited by the draft. So, the first question is: who would be signed on? You'd have to have Christian Bale as Batman right? Well, fear not, as according to an interview with IGN, when asked about possibly doing Batman in other projects, Bale had this to say: "It's like I was saying to Chris [Nolan] -- I'll be probably doing this in dinner theater somewhere in my 50s, so I won't knock it. Because who knows where I'll end up?" So the big question becomes who would play everyone else? With Wonder Woman on hold, searching for a new writer/director (since Joss Wheadon bowed out), and rumors of a Flash movie with Ryan Reynolds (which would be AWESOME) staying just that (rumors), casting becomes crucial. Of course, one would assume that Brandon Routh would reprise his role as Superman. Another question is where does this place the sequel to Superman Returns? I'm sure Warner Brothers were not nearly as happy with the box office numbers for that as they were for Batman Begins, so would a JLA movie cannibalize a Superman sequel? Only time will tell, but I have to say, the prospect of a JLA movie coming that much closer to reality is indeed a welcome prospect. Justice gets scripted
