I'm sure that most comic book fans are still recovering from Comic Con, but that doesn't stop the comic gods from unleashing more conventions onto the public.
Yes sir, this weekend (August 9-12) will be Wizard World Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in, presumably, downtown Chi-town. Tickets are still available, with one-day admission setting you back $25, while the weekend pass will set you back $50 (not a bad deal actually).
The guest list isn't so shabby either, featuring Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Michael Madsen (Kill Bill), Joe Quesada, Mark Millar (Civil War), Matt Wagner (Batman Dark Moon Rising) and Arthur Suydam (all the rage with the undead crowd). Other highlights include an appearance by the Top Cow team (probably sporting new threads), requisite appearances by powerhouses Marvel and DC, and overall comic debauchery.
So if you went to Comic Con and have something left in you, head to Chicago. If you didn't go to Comic Con, well then you're fully rested for a Wizard World.
