Rock to play Black Adam
A while back, early reports linked Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to the upcoming Shazam movie, as Shazam. MTV Movies Blog reports that he's still attached to the film, however, as Black Adam, Shazam's adversary.
MTV Movies Blog allowed site visitors to vote on what role Johnson should play: Shazam or Black Adam. It seems the overwhelming response was for Black Adam. The role isn't 100% confirmed just yet, but Johnson says its really just a matter of signing the dotted line after talking to director Pete Segal.
“Thank you for choosing,” he proclaimed. “Now the goal is just to make a kickass movie, a kickass character.”
