Bone is back
Jeff Smith's Bone was one of those off-beat comics in the 90s that was critically acclaimed, but didn't get as much attention as it should have. It makes sense I guess, since not a lot of people tend to respect really good literature, until now.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that Warner Brothers is in talks to produce a movie based on the comic, with Dan Lin slated to produce. No word on whether the film will be animated or live action (well, CGI I guess), but I'm sure those details will come to light sooner than later. There was a Nickelodeon backed endeavor in the works, but that was scrapped when Smith mentioned he was unhappy with the direction they were taking it (think SpongeBob SquarePants).
