Florida SuperCon (May 23-25)
I'm a big fan of comic book conventions, like most fans out there. So it stands to reason that I'm an even bigger fan of a SUPER convention, and the Florida SuperCon is just that.
Coming to the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston, FL, this weekend is the Florida SuperCon, a convention with a healthy mix of comics, anime, cosplay, manga and fantasy (sounds like a great weekend to me). Some of the artists that will be there include Dan Slott, Clayton Henry and Dick Giordano. Media guests include Brian O'Halloran (Clerks), Natalia Tena (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) and Grey Delisle (Avatar: The Air Bender) just to name a few.
Tickets are $20 for one day, and a three day pass is available for $30, and will be on sale at the door. So if you're in Weston this weekend and have nothing better to do, check out the Florida SuperCon.
