NECA launches Gears of War figure website

While I was at the Gears of War 2 panel at NY Comic Con, NECA was there to talk about their deal with Epic Games to create the action figures based on the game. Sadly, most of the questions in the audience were focused on what to expect in the sequel and not about the figures, but thankfully NECA didn't take that personally and pack up shop right then and there. They've just opened a website for Series 1 figures, and they are who you thought they were. Series 1 includes Marcus, Cole, Locust Drone, Locust Sniper and Weapons. Wait? Where's Dom? Most likely leading the charge in Series 2 if I had to take a guess. You can check out photos of the figures as well as making of featurettes that, well, explain the making of. No word quite yet on when to expect to see these in stores, but I'd say it would be in the not too distant future. Gears of War Series 1 figures
