It looks like 1983/1984 was a good time to start something comic related. As noted earlier, Dark Horse will be releasing the entire Mister X series in November commemorating the 25th anniversary of the series. And for the entire month of August, New England Comics will be having a massive sale.
50% off comics (old and new, with the exception of new releases), 20% off DVDs and graphic novels and then 20% off everything else. This is one of those great opportunities to catch up if there's some back issues you need or if you're missing a certain piece of a storyline.
