Fox planning more X-Men films, Daredevil sequel?

Comic book fans may have noticed a certain lack of Fox's presence as a movie studio this year in terms of comic book movies. This year has seen quite a few blockbusters this year (The Dark Knight, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk) and some that had more tempered success (Wanted, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, and Speed Racer). But there was a lack of that Fox representation, such as X-Men. According to an article in Variety, Fox plans to change that. With X-Men Origins: Wolverine due out next year, Fox plans on getting back on the comic book movie horse. There are talks that a young X-Men project is in the works, in addition to a standalone Deadpool film (hopefully bringing Ryan Reynolds back) and a return to the Daredevil franchise. And I'm sure Fox hasn't forgotten about X-Men Origins: Magneto either. "Though Fox has no plans for a major overhaul, the studio has scheduled a strategy meeting to assess the status of its superheroes, a group sorely missed this summer. On the agenda, Fox will mull the possibility of more "X-Men" spinoffs, including a young-X-Men project as well as "Deadpool," based on a character played by Ryan Reynolds in "Wolverine." The studio is even considering reviving the "Daredevil" property." So next year we have Wolverine, but after that it seems we're getting a whole lot more from Fox. Which is good. Because right now they're not carrying the highest favor with comic book fans closely watching the scrum over legal rights to the Watchmen. My advice to you Fox: suck it up and let Warner Brothers pay you money for them releasing the film. Then use that money to make more comic book based movies. Don't hold out for profits from Watchmen because your filming schedule got off track and Wolverine was pushed to next year and you didn't have any other tentpoles this year.
