Spawn: Endgame Contest
Spawn is reborn! Not literally (well, I guess literally since it is a written story). But the Spawn character has recently undergone a shift in direction courtesy of a new creative team starting with Spawn #185. And you know what that means? A contest!
Spawn.com is hosting a contest where you, the devoted Spawn reader, can submit your vision of Al Simmons/Spawn in the media of your choice. The entries will be narrowed down and the best one will be posted on the Spawn: Endgame website and the Spawn MySpace page for public voting. And now the semi-bad news. The contest ends tomorrow, Friday September 12 at 12 AM (midnight).
So what incentive do you have to throw together an entry before the deadline tomorrow night? Well the first place winner will receive an original full-body drawing of Spawn by world-renown comic artist Whilce Portacio. Second prize is an original Whilce Portacio Spawn head sketch. And these aren't prints, rather originals. So there's that.
Interested participants can send their submissions to contest@endgame.spawn.com with the subject line "SPAWN ENDGAME ENTRY CONTEST" for the email. Only one entry per person is allowed and what you send in has to be final...no changing your mind and updating it after its been sent in. And make sure to include your full name, title of your entry and a brief description of your creative thought process behind if it you're so inclined. And remember that all entries become the property of TMP, Inc.
