New Arrivals: December 17, 2008
Its that time again for the new arrivals. I've been trying to make a holiday themed pick each week of December, but it doesn't seem that there are many coming out this week. That being said, I'm going to make two picks this week.
The first is Impaler #1, the story of Vlad the Impaler's quest to rid America of nuked up vampires. This is one of the latest from Top Cow, who have gotten quite proficient at bringing us grotesque tales of carnage and bloodshed.
The second is Soulfire: Shadow Magic #1, where a battle for territory as the winged races of Rahtumi and Sethoru enter into an all-out war - the largest ever between the two rival bloodlines. This book is from Aspen Comics, and just about anything from there you have to give props to in honor of Michael Turner.
