Watch out!! It is my pick of the week for new comic book day and I’ll tell ya this comic is a little something different from the norm. Brandon here and I am taking time out of my busy day to help you choose at least one comic you should read this week, and that is
American Jesus: Volume One - Chosen.
Created by Mark Miller and Peter Gross (talent behind other comics such as Wanted, War Heroes and Kick Ass), bring to you a whole new look at Jesus. In short a young twelve year old boy discovers that he is the returned Jesus Christ. He can turn water into wine, walk on water, fixed the crippled and heal the sick and even raise the dead.
This comic follows his choices and shows whether or not he can live up to the responsibilities in leading the world through a difficult and deadly conflict that has been thousands of years coming. Can he be the savior the Earth needs or will it become Hell on Earth??? Well you will have to pick this one up to find out. Enjoy
