Matthew Vaughn is hard at work at the big-screen adaptation of Mark Millar's
Kick-Ass, a film about a kid that decides to become a superhero. One of the characters in the film is Mindy McCready, the daughter of Damon (played by Nicolas Cage), and she has just been revealed by Empire in her kick-ass garb.
Played by Chloe Moretz, Mindy is an assassin who's been trained by her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) since the age of four. "Think Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman and Uma Thurman rolled into one. She's an 11 year-old and she's the ultimate assassin. She kills, I think, 20 people in a minute."
Moretz hasn't done much in film considering she's only 12. The roles she has done have been more family oriented, so this is quite an interesting departure from her other roles.
