I've never gotten into the whole
Heavy Metal thing. I've heard phenomenal things, and I completely respect the property. The book was so powerful that it even included other stories serialized in its hollowed pages.
Starstruck was such a story.
The story was serialized in the magazine, then became a Marvel graphic novel and comic book. Now, it's back in print after 20 years, and Michael Kaluta is bringing the ruckus. Lee Moyer has completely recolored the book and has really done a phenomenal job.
Each issue also contains an episode of Galactic Girl Guides, by the same creative team of writer Elaiine Lee and artists Kaulta and Charles Vess. This one will be available in stores August 12 from the good folks at IDW Publishing.
