Map pack announced for Batman: Arkham Asylum

If you're like me, then every time you've loaded Batman: Arkham Asylum you've been teased. Not by the fact that you're almost at the Joker but the menu shows a 40% completion rate. Or that of the Riddler's challenges you're on the lower side of 100 out of about 240. No, it's that flashing, news headline-like crawl that announced the following: "DLC coming soon!" Such a vague statement with such huge implications. What could it be? Is a playable Joker coming to Xbox 360 (no)? More suit upgrades for Batman? The questions you can come up with could be riddles themselves. For example: On September 17 what's not here but there and comes in a pair? The answer???? MAPS! That's right kids. Rocksteady and Eidos have just announced that coming to an online gaming marketplace near you are two new challenge maps. For the low, low price of nothing. Nada. Zip. The Insane Night Map Pack features the "Totally Insane" FreeFlow combat map and the "Nocturnal Hunter" Invisible Predator map. The first gives you free reign to fight off wave after wave of inmates accosting you as you visit the secure records facility. The latter gives you the chance to use the Arkham watchtowers and Batman's gadgets to get the jump on the thugs roaming below. The Insane Night Map Pack will be available from September 17th for Xbox 360 and PS3, with the PC release date to be determined. Full press release below. EIDOS INTERACTIVE AND WARNER BROS.
