I'm gonna go with a random rant here to start us off. Yesterday was the WWDC, Apple's annual developer conference that features a keynote by Steve Jobs himself where he announces the newest Apple gizmos, Apple share skyrockets and people the world over start figuring out how they're going to pay for all the new Apple gear. Thing is? None of the demos for the iPhone 4 worked because people were crashing the WiFi. Why doesn't Steve just switch to 3G you ask? BECAUSE IT'S AT&T!

Anyways, the day was the day I looked most forward to this week, until that happened. It's a little disheartening when you're into tech and it's a slave to its exclusivity contract. I then reminded myself though that there's one day that never lets me down: Wednesdays. This week is no exception with a slew of comics coming out. Which one should you pay particular attention to? How about Tom Strong and the Robots of Doom #1?

Written by Peter Hogan and illustrated by Chris Sprouse and Karl Story (J.H. Williams III variant cover thrown in for good measure) Tom Strong and the Robots of Doom #1 picks up with one of Alan Moore's more beloved creations. Tom Strong is set to enjoy Tesla's wedding until something crazy happens: reality alters and becomes a world where the Nazis rule and are lead by Tom's son Albrecht.

The 32 page book is only $3.99 and you can check out some interiors below.

Enjoy!
