New Arrivals: August 11, 2010

Every single one of you out there better have September 20 marked on your calendar. Normally I wouldn't recommend marking down a seemingly innocuous Monday, but this day is special. Chuck season four kicks off, which means we get more Chuck, more sizzling Sarah (huzzah), more Casey grunts and more Captain Awesome. That's right...Captain Awesome. September 20 is a month away and for those of you that can't wait that long for Captain Awesome, how about a little Captain Action.

Captain Action Season Two #1 hits stores this week from Moonstone Comics. Boasting a creative team including Steven Grant, Rafael Nieves, Manuel Martin, Steve Scott, Mark Texiera and Mike Allred, the original action figure is back for more madcap shenanigans. In this brand new season, Captain Action is fighting a war that the world doesn't realize has already been lost, so yeah, that could be awkward. This issue also features a backup tale featuring a glimpse into the early days of Action Boy.
