Defense with the BoomPick

Hope the long weekend was an enjoyable one for all and you're ready to face this short week. Because of Labor Day you know new comics are going to be delayed a day this week, but that shouldn't stop you from seeing what’s coming out now. For today’s pick I went with a gem from Marvel Comics that aims to bring a certain character to the forefront. This new comic day brings Wolverine’s son Daken into the picture with his own comic Daken: Dark Wolverine #1.

Can’t say much about Daken as I don’t know a lot about him as a Marvel character, save for him having his father’s healing ability and retractable claws. He doesn't have Wolverine’s sense of right and wrong, as Daken is a cold and harsh person who never forgives the pain caused to him. Now Daken is tired of determining how he will bring the universe under his heel and sets out to accomplish this. In the process the soul of Wolverine is at stake, making Daken's choices the most important of his life.
