Bleedout: The Graphic Novel Published by Archaia

Vogster is partnering with Archaia Entertainment to bring to you folks the graphic novel adaptation of Bleedout, aptly titled Bleedout: The Graphic Novel.

The book will look at a possible series of events that bring on the new Age of Ruin, caused by mankind's greed. The novel will feature from some industry heavy-hitters, including Tim Bradstreet, Ben Templesmith, Nathan Fox, Zach Howard, Sanford Greene, David Williams, Gary Erskine, Howard Chaykin, Glenn Fabry, Vince Proce and Trevor Hairsine.

"We wanted this campaign expansion to provide an exciting gameplay experience with high-caliber style. Partnering with some of the hottest comic artists in the industry ensures that we do,” says Mike Kennedy, lead writer and Senior Producer at Vogster Entertainment. “Not only will their artwork give the campaign a cool, pulpy, graphic style, but it will make a gorgeous hard cover graphic novel and art book companion afterwards that only Archaia can bring to the table. Once fans get a glimpse of what we are working on, they’ll be as excited as we are for this release."

The book and artbook will release in early 2011 and will feed into the game of the same name. Full press release after the jump.

CrimeCraft Expansion Partners Top Artists with Cutting Edge MMO Shooter

NEW YORK - Oct. 8, 2010 - Vogster Entertainment announced today its partnership with Archaia Entertainment to publish BLEEDOUT: THE GRAPHIC NOVEL, which includes the story telling and artwork of a dozen of the comic industry's most celebrated artists. In addition to a full length Graphic Novel, the art will be used to propel the interactive storyline of the first major brand expansion for Vogster's massively multiplayer online shooter CrimeCraft, launching this fall.

BLEEDOUT explores the complex, yet frighteningly possible, series of events that throw the world into violent chaos. It is a new Age of Ruin, caused by mankind's own greed, a new Wild Society run by criminals and outlaws, that can explore and profit through exciting combat and conspiratorial adventure.

This all-new campaign features original artwork from comic industry all-stars, such as Tim Bradstreet, Ben Templesmith, Nathan Fox, Zach Howard, Sanford Greene, David Williams, Gary Erskine, Howard Chaykin, Glenn Fabry, Vince Proce, and Trevor Hairsine. Each artist will bring his unique graphic style and story-telling skills to a different chapter of the intricate backstory behind the campaign.

Once fans get a glimpse of what we are working on, they’ll be as excited as we are for this release."

Archaia Black Label and Vogster Entertainment will release the original graphic novel collection and artbook in early 2011 that expands on the stories chronicled in the BLEEDOUT campaign. The collection will give fans deeper insight into the misterious events leading to the catastrophic BLEEDOUT scenario, with a wealth of additional, previously-unreleased story material and artwork.

“When Vogster pitched the concept of BLEEDOUT, we were immediately attracted to the project because of how eerily similar the storylines blended with current events and the fact that the concept alone was extremely thought provoking,” commented Stephen Christy, Archaia’s Editor-in-Chief. “Then to find out who the creative attachments were just sealed the deal for us.”
