Darwyn Cooke at Borders

If you're going to be in town for NYCC this weekend (more specifically Thursday), Borders will be hosting Darwyn Cooke in celebration of The Outfit. On Thursday, October 7, from 7 to 9 PM, Cooke will sign copies of the new graphic novel at the Borders at 2 Penn Plaza. The book hit stores yesterday, so it might be worth picking up a copy for him to sign.

Celebrate launch of THE OUTFIT,
sequel to award-winning graphic novel, THE HUNTER

Who/What: Best-selling creator Darwyn Cooke will sign copies of his new graphic novel, THE OUTFIT, at Borders in New York City. THE OUTFIT, Cooke’s second Parker graphic novel, will be released this week nationwide.

Where/When: Thursday, October 7th from 7 to 9 pm at Borders, 2 Penn Plaza, NYC.

Details: Cooke is the Eisner Award winning writer/artist of the best-selling DC: The New Frontier, and has garnered much critical and popular acclaim as the writer/artist of The Spirit, Selina's Big Score, and others. The first book in Cooke's Parker adaptation series, THE HUNTER, was a New York Times best selling graphic novel and won several awards, including the 2010 Eisner for "Best Adaptation from Another Work." Cooke’s series adapts Richard Stark’s (aka Donald Westlake) crime noir novels based on the character, Parker.


THE OUTFIT ($24.99, 160 pages, 6” x 9”) will be available in stores on October 5, 2010.
