Boston Comic Con 2011

It really seems like Boston Comic Con 2010 just blew through Boston and also blew away everyone's expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at the talent on hand as well as the amount of people at the show. If you were one of the people that went to the show last year, or you didn't and want to this year, mark April 30 and May 1 on your calendars.

First off, the show's size has been doubled and, as such, it's been moved to Hynes Convention Center. Wizard World Boston attendees will be familiar with the location and it was a reasonable size for that show. Second, you can buy tickets NOW at www.bostoncomiccon.com. Thirdly, and this is the best part probably, is the talent at the show.

Frank Quitely, Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, Tim Sale, Darwyn Cooke, Art Adams, Matt Wagner, JG Jones, Stan Sakai, Terry Moore, Ryan Ottley, Dave Johnson, Gahan Wilson, Tony Harris, Mark Brooks, Stephane Roux, Khoi Pham, Sean Galloway, David Mack, and Howard Chaykin. Well then. Throw in Joe Kubert as a special guest on Sunday and March Chiarello from DC Comics on hand for portfolio reviews and the show should be quite the dandy.

Full press release after the jump.
