Defense with the BoomPick

Thanksgiving is going down next week, filled with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and all the fixings you could want or need while you enjoy some football in the company of family and friends. That's next week though; for this week you get new comics tomorrow to sate your appetite and there are some jawdroppers coming out. It was a bit of a toss-up as to what my pick for this week would be with a number of zombie comics and Deadpool ones coming out, but I went in a different direction. Today I'm going with one from Dark Horse Comics with an old favorite character of mine in Hellboy: Double Feature of Evil #1.

The team of Mike Mignola and Richard Corben bring to you a double-feature that goes all out in the horror department. This comic has Hellboy going into two different houses, each packing their own brand of terror and horror for our favorite red demon. One house is chomping at the bit to get Hellboy literally as it’s a carnivorous house looking to eat anything that comes through its doors. Meanwhile the other is an ancient pagan temple looking for human sacrifices that wants Hellboy to fit the bill. The two houses are both looking to take him down, giving Hellboy a challenge never seen before.
