New Arrivals: January 25, 2011

I'm going to level with you here: it's damn cold up here in Boston. Granted, it's supposed to warm up some but that just means we're also going to be faced with more snow, rain and sleet. Normally it's not a problem, but when it happens in the middle of the week it makes getting comics a little more difficult. Should you live in the northeast (or I-95) corridor and feel the need to venture out for comics you should look into Freakshow #1.

Freakshow #1 is pretty much what the title describes. A freak show in comic book form. This version is written by David Server and Jackson Lanzing and illustrated by Joe Suitor and comes to you from Ape Entertainment. The giant-sized debut issue is about five refugee survivors developing mutations from a chemical explosion that leaves their city in ruins. Naturally, the new plan is to band together to seek revenge.


The issue is the first of three and looks to be quite entertaining.
