Preview - Spawn #200

Hard to believe, but Spawn is about to hit a pretty significant milestone: Spawn #200. The comic that was a huge part of the revival back in the 90s has soldiered on well into the 21st century and will celebrate its 200th issue today. Considering the significance of the achievement, Image Comics is pulling out all the stops on this one. The story is by Todd McFarlane and Robert Kirkman, the art is by Todd McFarlane, Greg Capullo and Danny Miki and there are covers by McFarlane, Capullo, David Finch, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Marc Silvestri and Ashley Wood.

It's been nearly twenty years since Spawn #1 (June 1992) and in Spawn #200 Jim Downing (the current Spawn) comes head to head with the biggest enemy of the Spawn universe with sidekick Clown in tow. And considering the importance of this issue and the fact that Spawn has always been about the battle with hell's minions, God even gets on the action here. The issue is, appropriately, double-sized and will set you back $3.99. Check out the interiors after the jump.
