Top Cow and Heroes and Villains Announce Netherworld

Top Cow Productions has decided it would be prudent to team up with Heroes and Villains Entertainment for a brand new series called Netherworld.

The five issue miniseries is written by Bryan Edward Hill and Rob Levin and features art by Tony Shasteen and JD Mettler. What's it about? Ray is a former cop turned private eye and junkie haunted by his past. This haunting is further exacerbated by the fact the city has no sun and no hope, meaning every citizen is lost. He's offered a job to find a girl named Madeline and bring her to an unlikely duo of a beautiful woman and slick criminal.

Issue #1 reveals Ray, a former cop turned private eye and junkie, haunted by his past in a city with no sun and no hope. In this city, we are all lost. A beautiful woman and a slick criminal both offer him the same job: Find a girl named Madeline and bring her to them. Ray doesn't want the job, but he can't just leave this girl in the middle. Thrust into the city's twisted underbelly, Ray will unveil Netherworld's darkest secrets and come face-to-face with his past. Beware, Ray. If you seek the truth, you just might find it.

The first issue is in stores April 13. Full press release and inked interiors after the jump.
