Fear Itself: Book of the Skull

With Captain America: The First Avenger due out later this year there will be the inevitable rush of people trying to learn everything about the character they may not already know. Granted, comic diehards are already in the know, but the vast majority of even comic book fans know the character but may not know everything about him. Since it seems that Red Skull will play a big role in the movie that may be something you want to brush up on.

Marvel is releasing Fear Itself: Book of the Skull on March 16. The one-shot, written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Scot Eaton (covers by Marko Djurdjevic and Joe Quesada) will seek to explain either the origin of Red Skull or why he hates Captain America. The teaser image above was all that was released by Marvel so it could go either way.
