Defense with the BoomStick

(Disclaimer: This post is set in a world where zombies have taken over and people live in small spots all over the world. It’s a weekly broadcast of news from around the globe and a tip to help survival.)

Not sure how it’s going around your ways, but we've had more zombie attacks in a few groups hit us the past few days. We were fortunate that these were smaller groups making them a lot easier to handle and dispose of. With all the snow melting though zombies have becoming uncovered with a few reawakening, but most are still slow from being frozen for so long. I don’t want to jinx it, but who knows maybe things are turning around and we'll get more on that in the news.

News to report on is all good for once as zombie attacks are declining across most of South America, Eastern Europe and the midwest of the United States. A lot of locals have been broadcasting about not seeing zombies the past few days at all- even when they ventured a bit further away. These eerie periods of zombies then no zombies still have no explanation as to why it’s happening. Although with the amount of zombies that were destroyed over the last month and half maybe we are getting them down in numbers. Once again we are stuck waiting to see how this will all play out and hopefully it will do so in our favor for once.

Tip for today is how you can use just a few parts from a car to make a windmill and recharging station all in one. To build the windmill you can get pretty much most of the parts from one car provided they are in a somewhat working order. You need to get the alternator, pulleys, fan belt, batteries (if you don’t have any) and the fan that cools the engine in the front. Now older cars have the best type of fan to use as they are usually on the bigger side and can be metal. When building the frame you want to make it like a weathervane, in the sense of the mobility to swing into the wind.

If you can weld certain parts together that will be better as it will be a lot stronger, but if that isn’t possible you can drill some holes and use nuts and bolts to keep everything together. By making these smaller windmills you can get more rotations out of the fans giving you the ability to charge more batteries. There you have it for today keep fighting and keep surviving.
