New Arrivals: April 6, 2011

Another day another dollar spent on comics. Tons of great stuff coming out this week but Aspen Comics has one that I'm glad to see is finally hitting shelves: Charismagic #1.

Charismagic #1 is a pretty interesting book that seeks to combine "conventional" magic with more "magical" magic (I swear that makes sense). It follows Hank, a magician, and Sudana, a somewhat more "magical" magician. in case you don't see what's happening here, Charismagic #1 looks at the intersection of human magic and the intergalactic magic that a baddie named Samsun is after. The first issue is a great read. Writer Vince Hernandez and artists Khary Randolph and Emilio Lopez really have a an interesting work from Aspen Comics.
