Preview - Rage #1

Remember Doom and Quake? The two games from the nineties that were big on multiplayer and violence. The developers of those games, id, is working on a new game in the same vain as those two called Rage. The main difference between this game and the prior two games is that comic book tie-ins with video games are all the "rage" now.

Presented by Dark Horse, Rage is written by Arvid Nelson and illustrated by Andres Mutti and Pierluigi Baldassini (colors by Michael Atiyeh and cover by Glenn Fabry and Stephan Martiniere). The Earth has been devastated by collision with an asteroid, with a tiny fraction of the population surviving in life-sustaining arks, only to awaken in a wasteland controlled by a global military dictatorship called the Authority. But a rescued scientist learns that the Authority has lied to her and the other survivors about how this new world came to be.
