Preview - Angel and Faith #1

A lot of people really, really loved Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Eliza Dushku brought that recklessness to the role that made Buffy's life a living hell for most of the series, even dabbling in it with Angel. Angel was another character that fans loved (if, for nothing else, because the role was played by David Boreanaz).

The two shared a relationship in the show that was odd at times but at the same time seemed to make sense. That relationship has yet to end (considering these are fictional characters we're talking about) and are about to be on display again in the upcoming Angel and Faith #1, a new series from Dark Horse.

Written by Christos Gage and illustrated by Rebekah Isaacs (colors by Dan Jackson and cover by Jo Chen, Georges Jeanty and Steve Morris), Buffy and Faith #1 follows up on Angel after the end of Buffy Season 8, where he landed in a coma. He'll need a seriously rude awakening to make amends for his deeds, meaning Faith Lehane is right on cue.

The title is even executive produced by Joss Whedon (naturally). The title is in stores August 31 and interiors are after the jump.
