Becky Hawkins Presents Coffee and Beer Money

How's this for a resume? Graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a degree in oboe, saxophone and clarinet. Works with a cruise ship show band. Splits time between Brooklyn and Pittsburgh when not traversing the world. I'm guessing it all sounds really cool, but chances are it's not a resume you've come across.

Now though, you're made fully aware of such accomplishments and who they're tied to in Becky Hawkins. The talented artist and writer has a webcomic up over at www.frenchtoastcomix.com. Her sixth minicomic, Coffee and Beer Money, is now available for public consumption.

Coffee and Beer Money is more or less a stream of thought, sequence of days in what is, presumably, the life of Hawkins. It covers things such as Comic-Con, credit card companies and a night on the town.

The way it's illustrated is very similar to that of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. It's also got the similar "downtrodden" feel to it that Scott Pilgrim is forced to deal with on a daily basis. In Coffee and Beer Money though, there's no battles with evil exes.

Hawkins has six minicomics currently available for purchase. Give them a look for something new.
