Preview - Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and Other Steam-Powered Stories #1

If we lived in a world created by Valve then chances are things are pretty dystopian. Whether it be swarms of zombies in Left 4 Dead, solitary confinement at the hands of a murdering robot in Portal or even a group of soldiers fighting for survival in Team Fortress, all scenarios are not exactly ideal. They sure are fun to play though! Naturally, that fun to play aspect must translate to being fun to read right? Right?

Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and Other Steam-Powered Stories #1 is a new collection bringing the misadventures of the three aforementioned games to print in a lovely hardcover format. Written by various writers and illustrated by the same group (different variation) and Michael Avon Oeming, the collection features comics from Left 4 Dead, Portal and Team Fortress. It's a hefty collection too at two hundred pages, available on November 16 for $24.99 if you're willing to part with it.
