Speed Racer Returns to Comics
Allegory, LLC is releasing a new series of Speed Racer stories starting with "Circle of Vengeance" consists of four issues with the first issue in stores now. That first issue kicks off a new story arc that reveals the source of the Racer family's rivalry with the Car Acrobatic Racing Team.
"We are very proud that Speed is in such capable hands. From page one you can tell these stories aren't just another licensed comic book to feed open-mouthed fans. This is something that's important to the fans; and for us, it's our legacy," said Michael Cisneros, Licensing Director at Speed Racer Enterprises.
The work will feature the talents of Tommy Yune, Len Wein, Robby Musso and Lee Kohse.
Commenting on the new series, writer Tommy Yune states "Speed Racer was one of the first anime series that I enjoyed in my youth, and I'm excited to see the team at Allegory work very hard to bring new Speed Racer comics to the generations of fans."
Industry veteran Len Wein brought his experience and praise. “I'm thrilled to be working along side a team with a rich artistic and creative history. Speed racer fans are in for an incredible series that won’t disappoint.”

"SPEED RACER" RETURNS TO COMICS FROM ALLEGORY MEDIA
Allegory, LLC is happy to announce the release of the long awaited new generation of Speed Racer stories. The new series entitled Circle of Vengeance (Diamond Code JUL110872) consists of four issues with the first to arrive on store shelves on November 9th. The first issue kicks off a new story arc that reveals the source of the Racer family's long-running rivalry with the evil Car Acrobatic Racing Team.

Allegory has assembled an all-star cast of writers and artists to work on the first series of books, including Tommy Yune (Speed Racer, Robotech), Len Wein (Swamp Thing, X-Men), Robby Musso (Transformers), and Lee Kohse (Star Wars, Kindergoth).
