Sky Pirates of Neo Terra

There was a lot that happened at NY Comic Con this year. It's easy to see how some announcements might have fallen through the cracks a bit. Day 21 Studios had an announcement you might have missed in a brand new webcomic in Sky Pirates of Neo Terra and now the time has come for the webcomic to go live.

Graphic novelist and artist Camilla D'Errico teams up with Kurtis J. Wiebe for the series about the side-stories of characters not seen in the original graphic novel. Not only that, but the webcomic also gives more depth to the upcoming free-to-play social game set to release on iOS and Facebook.

The first instalment of the webcomic, Vanwitt's Discovery, about how the glidewing was created, has been released. The second story called, 'The Great Race', will be online this Friday, December 23rd.

A very successful Facebook Fan campaign has also been running, with original pages from the comic, drawn by Camilla d'Errico, being given away every time a new 1000 fan level is reached. More details about the art giveaway is available on the Sky Pirates Blog. One last page is up for grabs, and only a few hundred more fans to go before this one special page will be given away to one lucky fan.

Full press release after the jump.
