Zenescope April Solicitations

Things are not well in the Zenescope universe. Well, they're good from a business perspective, with a ton of comics due out in April. They're not good in that those comics have a ton of action going on in them that could spell trouble for the characters involved.

Grimm Fairy Tales presents Alice In Wonderland #4 is written by Raven Gregory and illustrated by Robert Gill (with covers by Jason Embury and Stjepan Sejic) and has the Queen of Spades fully revealed as the grand manipulator behind Alice's escape from the Jabberwocky. This issue answers the question of why, all the while the armies of Wonderland are mobilizing for more madness.

Written by Paul Ruditis and illustrated by Dean Kotz (cover by David Seidman), Charmed #20 has Magic School's doors closed, leaving Knox Academy as one of the few places left for sheltering those in need. Piper, Phoebe and Paige must team with staff to protect themselves and friends.

Zenescope's bread and butter has more with Grimm Fairy Tales #72 by Gregory and illustrated by Mike Capprotti. Sela's journey to find the tomb of Death. In her quest she learns the truth of the temple that was once the training grounds for the knights of the realm.

Grimm Fairy Tales April Fools' Edition #3 is somewhat lighter fare when it comes to Zenescope properties. Written by Ralph Tedesco and illustrated by Anthony Spay, the title re-letter stories from the Grimm Fairy Tales universe with a Mystery Science Theater 3000 slant.

Grimm Fairy Tales presents THE JUNGLE BOOK #2 is a non-Alice related comic, written by Mark Miller and illustrated by Mike DeBalfo. Shere Kahn prepares to strike at the very heart of the wolf clan beginning
with his most hated rival and Mowglii's surrogate mother, mother wolf. Mowglii is off encountering Baloo who has something of a vicious streak in him.

Grimm Fairy Tales Myths & Legends #16 is written by Gregory and illustrated by Sejic. Samantha, Baba Yaga, the Dark One and The Sea Witch all have something in common: each are searching for falsebloods who dwell on earth in preparation of a war that looms on the horizon. That secret and what role the rogue Beast will play are revealed in this issue.

Another of the non-Alice tales is The Waking: Dreams End #1 by Gregory and illustrated by Novo Malgapo. Murder has practically become extinct in the world, but naturally that means there's a void for a new kind of killer.

Grimm Different Seasons TPB Volume 2 is written by Brusha, Tedesco and Gregory. THe second volume collects some of the series' most popular one-shots, including the 2011 Holiday Edition, 2011 Halloween Edition,
2008 original Grimm Fairy Tales Annual
and the 2009 Grimm Fairy Tales Annual.

Finally, Jurassic Strike Force 5 #5 is written by Brusha and illustrated by Ciao Cacau. The evil alien overlord Zalex's secret weapon has been revealed and Rex and the rest of the Strike Force really have their hands full. Will they be able to defeat such a formidable foe?
