Arcana Celebrates Free Comic Book Day

Arcana will be making a splash on Free Comic Book Day. A really big splash. They're introducing and entire first issue as their entry into the day of free comics and festivities.

The Intrinsic #1 will be available for free. The company-wide crossover will bring together characters from across the Arcana universe to fight a great evil. It's 26 pages of story, all for free. You can check out our review here.

If you really like the story in the first issue, you'll also be able to preorder a copy of The Intrinsic #2, being solicited now for release in July. That issue will only be $1.95. That's the first two issues of a brand new series for a combined $1.95.

The publisher will also be sending Arcana creators out across both the US and Canada to local comic book stores for signings and general friendliness.

Full press release and signing schedule below.

VANCOUVER (May 1, 2012) - With Free Comic Book Day just a few days away, Arcana Comics wanted to remind you of the events going on across North America as well as to remind you of how to get a copy of Intrinsic Issue 2 (Diamond Code MAY120836) after you fall in love with Issue 1 on FCBD.

This Free Comic Book Day is the biggest in Arcana's history for several reasons. First is INTRINSIC! Intrinsic is a company-wide crossover, bringing together characters from across the Arcanaverse to fight a common threat, who could destroy all of reality!

Stores are flocking to carry Intrinsic because it's the first chapter of a story, not just a teaser. In the book, you'll get 26 pages of story and a look at the Arcanaverse. Again, it's FREE.

If you fall in love with the story of Intrinsic, don't forget to pre-order a copy of Intrinsic issue 2, which is being solicited now in Diamond Previews for a July Release! On Free Comic Book Day or soon after, head over to your local comic book shop and ask them to order a copy of the book for you. Issue 2 will only be $1.95 for 22 pages of story.
