Freelancers #1 Returns for Second Printing Before Release

Freelancers is a new book from BOOM! Studios, written by Ian Brill and illustrated by Joshua Covey (back-up story by Matt Gagnon and Felipe Smith). It's a book that hasn't even hit stores yet (that's not until November 7), but there's already so much buzz behind it that it's going to a second printing. That's quite impressive for a new book.

In the new series, money talks. Val and Cassie are two women trying to make it in LA, but they're more than just aspiring starlets. In fact, they've grown up in a Kung Fun Orphanage and have decided to leverage that talent into a life of bounty hunters. They’ve watched each others’ backs since they could stand and those bonds are tested daily as they navigate a city where loyalty usually only runs as deep as one’s bank account.
