Husbands Going on Tour

Last fall, Dark Horse released Husbands, a digital comic book series continuing the sitcom phenomenon telling the story of accidental gay newlyweds Brady and Cheeks. The title was written by Jane Espenson and Brad Bell and boasted an introduction by Neil Gaiman and got quite the accolades. Well, now the creative duo behind the book are taking their show on the road, traveling for a book signing tour.

“We always knew that a newlywed sitcom for the age of marriage equality was an idea that deserved to exist as a show. And we’re so thrilled to see it turned into this gorgeous book as well. The humor, the beautiful artwork from all these talented artists, all the special touches that went into it—all of that makes this something really special,” says Jane Espenson.

In this witty new graphic novel, the couple receive a mystical wedding gift that launches them on an epic adventure—a tongue-in-cheek journey through iconic genre realms—filled with obstacles that threaten to tear them apart: a superhero showdown, a fairy-tale fantasy, a Holmesian mystery, an epic galactic battle, a madcap high-school romp, and a saucy secret-spy thrill ride.

Husbands, the complete collection, arrives on March 27, 2013, and is available for preorder now through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, TFAW.com, and of course at your local comic shop. The official Husbands book tour kicks off on March 27 at the upcoming WonderCon 2013.
