The publisher's plans at booth #1565 boasts looks at Ox, Hit List, No Tomorrow, Wonderland, Robyn Hood and, of course, Grimm Fairy Tales setting up for its 100th issue. Zenescope will also debut several limited edition convention exclusive covers with artwork by Mike DeBalfo, Anthony Spay, Jamie Tyndall, Elias Chatzoudis, Mike Krome and Tyler Kirkham. Aside from Zenescope exclusives and merchandise, free creator signings and comic book giveaways will be part of the company’s plans all weekend long.
Appearing and signing at booth #1565 will be writers/creators Joe Brusha, Ralph Tedesco, Raven Gregory, and Pat Shand as well as artists Elias Chatzoudis, Jamie Tyndall, Anthony Spay, Paolo Pantalena, Jimbo Salgado, Tyler Kirkham and many others. Zenescope will also be holding the Grimm Fairy Tales Animated panel on Thursday October 10th at 7:30 PM in panel room 1A14. The panel will feature Grimm Fairy Tales creators and pilot producers, Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco as they screen the Grimm Fairy Tales Animated pilot episode directed by Jon Schnepp with bonus behind the scenes footage of actors Lena Headey, Robert Forster, Chris Hardwick and Brianna Evigan.
Zenescope will be having a “Wonderland Night” at St. Marks Comics in the village on Saturday night October 12th from 8 PM – 10 PM. Writers Raven Gregory and Pat Shand will be on hand to chat with fans about the Wonderland series, as well as sign copies of the series available for purchase at the store. There will be free comics given away to those who attend the signing. There will also be portfolio reviews Friday and Saturday from Noon – 2:00 PM at the booth 1565. Please bring samples of your work to show and to drop off.
