Dynamite Entertainment Heads to NYCC 2014


Dynamite Entertainment is celebrating ten years. Ten years as a publisher means lots of great titles and creators moving through the proverbial doors. And Dynamite's celebration is in full-swing this year at NYCC, with some of the aforementioned high-profile creators, panels and tons of convention exclusives at booth #2022. This year's convention marks Dynamite's return to show floor exhibition and to celebrate, the publisher is bringing along some of the top creators in the business for signing sessions all weekend long. Creators on tap will include Alex De Campi, Anthony Del Col, Brent Peeples, Conor McCreery, Cory Smith, Frank J. Barbiere, Frank Tieri, Fred Van Lente, Gail Simone, Greg Pak, Howard Chaykin, Joe Harris, Michael Moreci and Tim Seeley.

The publisher will host a panel at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 9th in Room 1B03 entitled "The Dynamite 10th Anniversary Celebration," featuring a star-studded line-up of creative talent for an "hour of explosive power." Simone will talk about swords-and-sorcery and her upcoming Women of Dynamite project. Barbiere, Van Lente and Pak will unlock secrets of the Gold Key universe. And finally, Tim Seeley (Evil Ernie) will reveal the behind-the-scenes of bringing Chaos! Comics' resident madman back to life.

In addition to its exciting programming, Dynamite will be offering one-of-a-kind convention exclusives to fans eager to get their hands on the latest and greatest from Dynamite Entertainment. Limited edition variants of Evil Ernie #1, Mercy Thompson #1, Sherlock Holmes vs. Harry Houdini #1 and Vampirella: Feary Tales #1 will be made available for purchase, along with convention exclusive editions of Bob's Burgers #1, based on the Emmy Award-winning animated phenomenon. Convention attendees are encouraged to visit the Dynamite Entertainment booth (#2022) to purchase their convention exclusives before these limited collectibles sell out.

October 7, 2014, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment will bring its ten-year anniversary celebration to New York City's Javits Center for the New York Comic-Con 2014, with high-profile booth guests, a can't-miss panel, and a coveted selection of convention exclusives as the publisher heads to booth #2022 for the four-day event. Fans are encouraged to visit the Dynamite booth and interact with their multitude of creator guests throughout the weekend, October 9th - 12th.
