Cluster #1 Sells Out Ahead of Second Printing

BOOM! Studios loves a sell-out, so they're ecstatic to hear that Cluster #1 has sold out. The sell-out precedes the inevitable second printing to fill demand. That doesn't mean that first print issues of Cluster #1 can't be found in stores, but if you don't happen upon one you can take solace in the second printing.

Created by writer Ed Brisson and artist Damian Couceiro, Cluster #1 tells a story set in a distant future where humans have discovered life on other planets. Faced with a shortage of manpower, and in order to protect their colonies across the galaxy from other species, Earth’s government has resorted to offering prisoners a chance to shorten their long sentences in exchange for serving as an interstellar soldier. More and more soldiers are needed as wars continue, so small crimes are met with long-term punishments. But when a group of prisoners-turned-soldiers are marooned on enemy soil, they’ll need to work together to survive and uncover the truth behind Earth’s role in deep space.

Cluster #1 second print ships with a new cover by Couceiro and carries a retail price of $3.99 with a Diamond Code of DEC148594. Orders close on February 23rd and it is anticipated to be in stores on March 11th. Full press release below.
