BOOM! Studios Paves Road to SDCC 2015 with Announcements


Fans shouldn't rest on their laurels in the week or so leading up to SDCC this year. If you're looking for some news from BOOM! Studios, the publisher will unveil 10 announcements in the days leading up to the big show July 8-12. The announcements will include a mixture of new projects, creator reveals, and new partnerships.

“Comic-Con is always one of the highlights of our convention schedule, and every year we look forward to sharing some cool news about upcoming titles with our fans,” said BOOM! Studios Marketing Manager Mel Caylo. “Last year, we couldn’t hold out until Comic-Con with announcements that included new projects with J.G. Jones and Mark Waid, Justin Jordan, Grant Morrison, and others. This year, we couldn’t contain ourselves again!”

The first announcement will be made today. BOOM! Studios will participate in Comic-Con as an exhibitor and can be found at Booth #2229. Look for separate announcements to come for BOOM!’s talent, panels, exclusives and 10 Year Birthday Bash taking place during the show.

June 17, 2015 (Los Angeles, Calif.) - Award-winning publisher BOOM! Studios is excited to reveal it will unveil 10 announcements in the days leading up to Comic-Con International in San Diego, California (otherwise known as San Diego Comic-Con, Comic-Con, or SDCC), North America’s largest pop culture event that will take place at the San Diego Convention Center July 8-12. The announcements will include a mixture of new projects, creator reveals, and new partnerships.

The first announcement will be made on Monday, June 22nd. Members of the press who are on BOOM! Studios’ distribution list should look out for emails with the header “BOOM!’s Road to San Diego Comic-Con.”
