Ninjak #10 Receives Full Returnability, Enhanced Discount and Upgraded Cover Stock

Remember the 90s? The era of TLC, parachute pants and a million different variants of comic book covers? Valiant remembers at least the last part of the equation, tapping into that era in terms of offering a glow-in-the-dark cover for Ninjak #10. Unfortunately, things didn't work out exactly as planned and Valiant is now aiming to make it right. The first issue of the "Operation: Deadside" storyline by Matt Kindt and Doug Braithwaite has been made fully returnable for all accounts and will now feature an upgraded, high-quality cover stock in lieu of the previously solicited glow-in-the-dark cover treatment.

"Valiant's number one priority is the quality of our content and this is one rare instance where the manufacturing process was unable to satisfactorily capture what we had envisioned," said Valiant CEO & Chief Creative Officer Dinesh Shamdasani. "Many fans, retailers, creators, and Valiant staff alike were looking forward to "OPERATION: DEADSIDE"'s glow-in-the-dark covers – a first in Valiant history. Unfortunately, the samples just didn't live up to expectations and, rather than release something that fell beneath our standard of quality, we're upgrading the covers all around to give fans an equally weighty and every bit as exciting reading experience come December."

Retailers that previously qualified for returnability based on Ninjak #10's qualifying incentives will now also receive an extra 5% discount on their orders of NINJAK #10 for a total of 70% off all qualifying orders. The shipping schedule for Ninjak #10 will remain unaffected by this change and will still arrive in stores on time for the issue's December 9th on-sale date, maintaining Valiant's unbroken record of on-time shipping across more than 300 individual issues since their 2012 launch. Additionally, the previously solicited Ninjak #11 and Ninjak #12 will now feature the same upgraded cover stock, rather than glow-in-the-dark cover treatments as well.
