Megatron returning in Transformers sequel?

When it was learned that the upcoming sequel to Transformers was being given the "Revenge of the Fallen" moniker, people instantly thought one thing: Megatron is returning. It would make perfect sense. A pissed off Megatron imbued with some residual Cube power returns to continue waging war against the Autobots, most likely bitch slapping Starscream down a peg or two in the process. Textbook Decepticon hierarchy. But Michael Bay denied that Megatron would be back. Maybe Bay was wrong. According to Adelaide Now (an Australian blog), Hugo Weaving thinks Megatron will be back. In fact, he's already done the voiceover work. "I’ve already done it," Weaving says, adding Bay had told him to keep the news hush-hush. "He’s over in LA and we were working on the video split sort of thing and I had this strange conversation where he seemed to imply it was all a big secret. So there you go, I’ve given you the secret scoop." "I think in the last one, doesn’t Optimus Prime pick up a little bit of, a little shard of the cube, or the thing that’s left, and he takes it with him. Maybe there’s something there… but I don’t know," he laughs. So there you have it folks. Megatron is back in the sequel, most likely up to his nefarious antics. What role will he play in the sequel is still up in the air, but I'm still sticking to the notion that his role will involve some anger at Starscream for insubordination. It just feels right.
