Batman: Black and White statue

I'm a big fan of Batman statues. He's one of those superheroes that always has a statuesque demeanor that translates well to, well, statues. Even spiffier are when the statues are a throwback to days of yore, such as black and white. And if you've read the latest Batman related graphic novel called Joker, you might recognize the artistry found in the statue. From DC Direct comes a statue designed by Lee Bermejo and sculpted by Jean St. Jean. The statue depicts Batman in the Black and White variety. He clutches a Batarang as he's ready to spring to action. The statue stands 6.75" high by 6" wide by 7" deep, and painted in monochromatic tones. The statue features a Bat-logo-shaped base and comes packaged in a black and white box, and is manufactured to order. The statue will be available January 6, 2010, for $80.
