Defense with the BoomStick

Afternoon everybody out there. It's time to get to business. Brandon here and I'm coming at you with the news and tips you want to keep fighting and keep surviving. For the news, nothing much to report. I've been getting more information from an agent on the ground in the northeast offensive going on and when I hear more I will report. Also that a hurricane is going to pass throw the Caribbean in the next few days. If you are living in these parts be careful for many reasons. One of the more seasonal is you have the hurricane coming at you. This storm can stir up zombies in the water and might make them come ashore, so keep watch. Now onto the tip of the week.

Today I am going to talk about surviving at sea some more, as I remember saying I would revisit the topic. Surviving at sea can have its advantages but disadvantages as well. A lot of it depends on what sort of boat you have, the experience you have and supplies. These are the three main components of being able to survive on the open water.

Your boat lets you know where you can go and what sort of weather you can survive in. Plus with the size goes hand-in-hand with experience and supplies as if you have a bigger ship you can carry more necessary supplies. The trade off is that you might need a certain number of people to help you man the ship as well depending on if it's a sail boat or gas powered. There's debate over which of these is better but having both helps to conserve fuel. It's difficult, however, to master sailing a sailboat without help. You have to make sure you are bringing the most important supplies with you when sailing off to the wide open ocean. Water is the most important thing you can bring as you will most certainly die without it.

Food and weapons are the next most important supplies you will need, and then come the comfort items that you would want. Quantities all depend on the size of your group. When sailing be wary of coming into any port as you never know if it is overrun with the undead or it might be secured by people of the not-friendly variety (they could just kill you and take all your stuff). That's it for today. I have to get off and get work done around here while we have the warm weather. Until next week keep fighting and keep surviving and we will kill all the zombies. This is Brandon signing off.
