If you're here reading this then you're probably wondering what my pick of the week is. My pick for this week's new comic is based on an exceptional awesome Sing-Along Blog by none other than Joss Whedon. Dark Horse Comics is bringing this one at ya and it's titled
Dr. Horrible #1.
Based on the online Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Dr. Horrible #1 shows us the origin story of one supervillain named Dr. Horrible (played by Neil Patrick Harris). This one-shot showcases the epic tale of a young man, overflowing with brilliance, who finds the life of crime exciting. For every supervillian though there is a superhero to battle against, and for this story it's Captain Hammer (played by Nathan Fillion).
All hell breaks loose when these two face-off in showdown for the ages, with support from a young girl named Penny. Of course, Penny is the object of Dr. Horrible's affections. This is a comic that you need to get (and watch the online video as it's amazing).
