Voltron #1 Sells Out

People just can't seem to get enough of Voltron. In fact, readers like it so much that they've propelled Voltron #1 from Dynamite Comics to a sellout!

Featuring covers by the always classy Alex Ross and writing by Brandon Thomas, Voltron #1 continues the saga of five young pilots who command their robotic lions. They protected the planet Arus, ruled by Princess Allura, from the evil King Zarkon of Planet Doom and monsterous Robeasts.

In Voltron #1, the Voltron Force is on the verge of eradicating King Zarkon's regime. Of course, Zarkon has a knack for hanging around, primarily in the form of knowing something about Voltron that could change everything for the Galazy Alliance.

In "Voltron #1", ultimate victory has never been closer for the Voltron Force. King Zarkon's brutal regime has been pushed to the edges of the galaxy, left to wage a series of desperate and losing battles to claim innocent victims while they still can. But Zarkon knows something---a secret about Voltron over a hundred years old that could change everything for the Galaxy Alliance.

There's no word on a second printing, but I'm sure Dynamite knows there are probably still some people out there that want this first issue. Stay tuned.

Full press release after the jump.
