First Look - Prophecy #1

If there's anyone that knows a thing or two about writing powerful, female characters who can't seem to escape fighting inhuman creatures it's Ron Marz. That makes him the perfect writer for Dynamite Entertainment's upcoming (and first) crossover event Prophecy #1.

With the Mayan prophecy preparing to come to pass, strange alliances will be formed. Vampirella, Red Sonja, Kulan Gath, Dracula, Eva, Herbert West The Reanimator, Alan Quatermain, Athena, Dorian Gray, Purgatory, Pantha and many more choose sides and clash in battles that will decide the fate of the Earth and all of mankind.

The seven-issue event starts shipping in June and features art by Walter Geovani and covers by Paul Renaud. From the looks of things, this one could be a pretty solid event that has a lot of great characters involved.
