Because the 80s were such a long time ago and you might not remember who was in your staged Joe/Cobra fights in your backyard, Omnicomic is profiling each character in the upcoming film. Actor: Karolina Kurkova
Specialty: Cover Girl is a tank jockey and drives all manner of armored vehicles, specializing in the Wolverine Missile Tank and is one of the top mechanics working for the Joes.
Background: Before Cover Girl joined with the G.I Joe team she was a successful model from Peoria, Illinois. Being a girl who seeks adventures and one who enjoys a challenge, she quit modeling to join the Army and set about doing tasks and jobs that were supposedly not possible to be done by a woman. She was always ready to prove herself to show everyone that she wasn’t just a pretty face, but someone they can count on and bring something to a fight.
Because of her beauty she drew the attention of other Joes; in particular both Shipwreck and Clutch sought after her attention. She never gets involved with any of the other Joes, but that doesn’t stop her from saving their lives on numerous occasions, because Cobra never figures she is so deadly and resourceful.
