One down...

All the talk surrounding the inevitable Spider-Man 4 has mostly been about whether or not Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are coming back to reprise roles they've become famous for. Less talk has been made about the million or so other individuals that would be responsible for putting together a decent movie. Until now. IGN confirms that David Koepp (responsible for writing the first Spider-Man) will not be returning to write the fourth incarnation of Sony's cash cow...I mean, franchise. Koepp has been working on Indiana Jones 4, and an upcoming film (Ghost Town), so his time is stretched a little thin. I do have faith the Spider-Man 4 will be awesome, although I do feel like the third will be the height of the series. My guess is that Raimi, Maguire and Dunst stay around for one more movie, and then Sony rolls the dice and brings in a new director and cast. Guess we'll wait and see.
